The PCHS field hockey team defeated Stearns 2-1 to snap a two game losing streak. Jewel Lamb and Cassie Richardson scored the goals for the Pirates.

The Pirates girls soccer team fell 3-2 against Greenville in the final game of the day. Erin Speed gave PCHS a lead just 6:37 into the contest. They held that lead until Delanie Boone scored off a corner kick with 8:55 remaining in the first half.

It looked like the teams were going to head into halftime with that tie score. Shelby Ward changed that when she put the ball in the back of the net to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead with 2.6 seconds remaining in the half.

Ward converted a penalty shot to give Greenville a 3-1 lead with 27:41 left in regulation. Speed cut the lead in half with just over six minutes on the clock. PCHS had chances in the last two minutes, but could not convert.
